Danielle Arigoni is the director of the AARP Livable Communities initiative.  She leads the team responsible for supporting AARP’s age-friendly network by developing practitioner-focused publications on topics ranging from accessory dwelling units to placemaking to rural livability; and delivering direct technical assistance to nearly 100 communities each year. Her team also publishes a free weekly newsletter on livable communities-related issues, reaching more than 100,000 local leaders nationwide.  Danielle has worked on developing sustainable and resilient federal, state and local policy, including prior leadership positions at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
