The Smart Growth Advisory Board will have a presentation by Jeannette Dubinin, Director of Resilience & Adaptation at the Center for Planning Excellence.  Jeannette will discuss how the principles that guide smart growth development are well suited for helping a community prepare for any climate change-related adverse impacts. Additionally, Irene Kang, DC Association of REALTORS Vice President of Government Affairs will briefly discuss an NAR Smart Growth Grant-funded event which helped the DC membership understand the nuts-and-bolts of bringing Accessory Dwelling Units to Washington, D.C.  Lastly, the members of the Advisory Board will review and discuss the newly released NAR Community Outreach Placemaking Toolkit.
